About US
The Sound Company was founded in 2021 by Co-Producing Artistic Directors Jess Hughes and Sean Ryan Naughton. After graduating from The Ohio State University with their MFAs in acting with an emphasis on the creation of new works, they joined forces to explore their shared commitment to rigorous, collaborative, and multidisciplinary theatre and performance art. The company is dedicated to working with emerging artists, deconstructing classic texts to excavate new stories, and creating new work that asks the question: how are we getting along in the world today?
